Norah Benincasa, LICSW

Norah holds a Bachelor degree in Regular Elementary and Special Education and a Master’s degree in Clinical Social Work with a focus on children and families both from Boston College. She has over 25 years experience working in schools, social skills centers, mental health agencies, private practice and residential recovery centers. She works with a variety of mental health and learning needs profiles including but not limited to:ADHD, Anxiety, Anger, ASD, Behavioral disorders, Body Dysmorphic disorders, Binge Eating disorders, Executive Function disorders, Grief, Learning disorders, OCD, Co-Parenting Plans, PNES, Substance use/recovery, and Trauma.

She is trained in a variety of conventional and holistic modalities. She integrates skills from many evidence-based approaches such as CBT, DBT, Solution Focused Therapy, Behavioral Therapy, Exposure Therapy, Narrative Therapy, TF-CBT and Play Therapy.

She prioritizes a warm, safe and non-judgmental environment and hopes you will feel comfortable “Daring Greatly”.

In her free time she loves to be with her family, baking/cooking, teaching yoga, hiking, and riding as many miles as she can each week on her bike!
