Samantha Tremlett, LICSW

Samantha is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker who specializes in psychotherapy with children, young adults and families. Samantha earned her bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Union College. She then went on to obtain her Masters in Social Work at Boston College with a concentration in clinical work with Children, Adolescents and Families. Samantha started her career at The Home for Little Wanderers in Boston and maintained a mixed caseload of school based and outpatient clients. Since then she has continued to hold a similar caseload in both schools and outpatient settings. She also has valuable experience supporting families in community based and clinic settings. Samantha’s experience in school settings has provided her with a strong understanding and knowledge of the academic experience children of all ages have. She enjoys helping children and families navigate these spaces while also providing consistent psychotherapy.

She has experience with various modalities of treatment including Play Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) as well as a Psychodynamic approach. Samantha is excited about using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to support her patients improve their thought patterns and behaviors to reach increased well being and happiness. She enjoys helping her patients develop the skills they need to improve their emotional, social and mental health. In her free time, Samantha enjoys playing with her dog, practicing pilates and baking.
